6. Jellyfish
A great fear for many people is to be stung by jellyfish. Especially a sting by Pacific Sea Nettles can be incredibly painful. Fortunately for humans, that sting is rarely fatal. However, stings from other species such as the box jellyfish are. These are found mainly in the Indo-Pacific region and northern Australia.

Bzzz! Bees, wasps, hornets and other flying insects are among the deadliest animals in the United States. No reason to panic yet, because often these deaths occur when people are allergic to those stings and experience anaphylactic shock.
4. Hippos
At first glance, hippos don’t seem to harm a fly, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, hippos are known to be very aggressive. However, this is not necessarily always the case. It often happens when they feel threatened. In such a situation, they can very easily capsize a small boat and kill the occupants.

You have different types of snakes, but the most dangerous one is the bothrops asper snake, also known as the barba amarilla. This snake has one of the deadliest venoms of any snake in the world. With over 60,000 incidents per year, it’s best to stay away from the snake.

Yes indeed, your favorite pet can also be very dangerous. Small disclaimer is that this is not true for all dogs. For example, these puppies wouldn’t hurt a fly. But if a dog is aggressive or feels threatened, they can quickly start biting. And that’s when you want to stay away from the mouth – trust us!
